Income Generating Projects

Friends of Kakamega and the Care Center Project Committee has a goal of trying to make the Care Center become increasingly self-sufficient. To this end, there are a number of income generating projects that have been started: land for planting food and trees, cows and chickens, beehives, a small shop, rental of rooms at the Care Center and tailoring. People have contributed specifically to some of these projects to help get them off the ground.
